 esian opportunities. His 'Synesthetic Octet'\, founded some eleven years a
 go at Vienna’s 'Porgy & Bess'\, mixes all sensory levels even for those wh
 o can't taste sounds or associate colors with temperatures. Inspired by th
 e arrangements of Gil Evans\, the compositions of Olivier Messiaen and hip
  hop of the 90s\, the leader occasionally raps in an imaginative language 
 to an overwhelmingly groovy 7/8th. And the drums sound like 'Plehak'\, as 
 the current album title suggests.
